“I consider being able to be apart of a child’s journey one of the greatest joys and honors of my life. I not only love the type of therapy Applied Behavior Analysis provides but also the high quality relationships I get to build with amazing kids and families. I’ve been able to witness kids reach so many milestones. Being able to come to work and be silly and have a blast with my clients is also unbeatable! I wouldn’t trade it for anything!”
Currently, Alana is a Masters student in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at UNO and is a member of the American Counseling Association for Assessment and Research and the International Association for Marriage and Family Counseling.

Elizabeth Sullivan began her collegiate education as an undergrad at Southeast Missouri State University, where she studied communication disorders with a minor in social work. After graduating in 2016, Elizabeth developed a passion for working with kiddos on the autism spectrum when working as an RBT at The Autism Clinic at Hope Institute in Springfield, IL.
During that time, Elizabeth decided to pursue her Master’s degree from Arizona State University in Curriculum and Instruction (emphasis in ABA) and graduated in 2018. In 2018, Elizabeth moved to Omaha and began working as a behavior technician at Munroe Meyer Institute in the severe behavior program. Elizabeth was later promoted to a behavior analysis specialist 1. She passed her BCBA exam in August 2019. Elizabeth’s biggest passion in ABA is working towards functional communication goals.
Elizabeth can typically be found relaxing at home while watching TV with her husband, and playing with her cats (Krissy, Rizzo) and her corgi (Sherlock). When not at work, she enjoys traveling, going to concerts, and spending time with family.
Shelby was introduced to ABA when she 15 years old after working with a family friend’s son who had an ASD diagnosis. Shelby, originally from Wrens, Georgia, began pursuing a career in psychology at the University of Georgia. After meeting her husband, she moved to Omaha and graduated from UNO in 2016 with a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology.
Shelby began her graduate studies in Neuroscience with the hopes of conducting autism-related research. However, after realizing her passion for working directly with people, Shelby transferred to the Applied Behavior Analysis program and received her Master’s degree in ABA in 2018. Shelby completed her practicum under the supervision of Licensed Psychologists at the Munroe-Meyer Institute. She became a Board Certified Behavior Analyst and a Provisionally Licensed Mental Health Practitioner in 2019.
While Shelby enjoys providing early intervention services, her favorite part of the job is parent training. As a cancer survivor herself, Shelby feels she has a unique perspective on working with families battling a diagnosis. In her free time, Shelby is usually trying out new recipes or going on adventures with her husband, daughter, and two pups, Zoey and Ella.
